The 'SHELL CLUB' ,
situated in Springhouse Road, Corringham, is a long established local club which
in fact celebrated its 55th birthday in year 2005. Since February 1989 the Club's status changed
from a Registered Members Club to a Proprietary Club which now allows
NON SHELL
Membership of the Club. Application for this limited membership can be
made at the Club Office.
Other facilities outside of the Clubhouse grounds include well stocked
Fishing
Lakes of approx. 32 acres situated in Wharf Road (The Warren). There is a
waiting list for this amenity.
Other facilities
include a 'well stocked' Members Bar with top brands of Beer (Scottish Courage),
Wines & Spirits with regular bar entertainment,
raffle and a 'quick quiz' on a Saturday Night and very enjoyable Monthly
Quiz Night (3rd Thursday in the Month).
The Shell Club has
hosted very successful wedding receptions and
parties for its Members and Non
Members over the past 20 years and have gained immense experience in
assisting with planning special functions.
Large and small
conferences can be held at the Shell Club and our
service will be tailored to meet your needs and requirements.

To provide Social and Sporting recreation
for the Shell Club members and their guests to enjoy in a safe environment.
Our Profile
The Shell Club provides sporting and social
recreation for its members in a cost effective way and exists for the benefit of
the community. We currently total some 3,000 members who enjoy their special
interests.
The Shell Club is well associated with the
Recreation Managers Association of Great Britain (RMA of GB), The British
Institute of Club Management (BICM) and the British Institute of Inn Keeping (BII).
